Our death preparation app is just a stepping stone towards a larger goal, our aim for Bereev is to be a tech platform that helps people deal with various challenging moments in their lives.
There is a public listed company in the US called XO Group (NYSE: XOXO) that owns a suite of apps that helps its users during the happier times in their life. Think wedding planning, pregnancy tracking, building your first home, party planning and whatnot.
We are trying to be the XO Group of the darker times in life when help is lacking and much needed. For example, death, divorce, grief management and more.
Because if you think about it, how many apps can you name that help you through those difficult times?
The plan is simple, we’ll start by focusing on the one thing all of us have in common, death. We’ll constantly evolve in order to achieve our biggest goal, which is to radically change the way we deal with death. Here’s what we’re going to do, one step at a time.

We’re going to start by getting people to think about and reflect on their own mortality and what sort of departure they prefer. Because if this doesn’t happen, nothing else matters.

When you’re ready, it’s time to have the talk with your loved ones. It’s terrifying to talk about something like this, we know but try to be as open and honest as you can.

Now comes the tricky part, how to put all your wishes, preferences, documents and etc in a proper plan? This is where Bereev comes in to guide you from A to Z.
Lofty goals right? That’s why we need you to play your part. It’s insane to think that humans have been innovating every other aspect of our lives except for this one bit. After all, it’s not like death is something new.
