With our latest release, we’re introducing 2 Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA) to your death preparation experience. Let’s start with some quick facts.
What is 2FA?
It’s the 6 digit verification code that you get via email (or SMS) whenever you try to log in, similar to the TAC code you get with online banking.
Why introduce this?
To add another layer of security on top of your password. This ensures that even if someone else knows your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the verification code.

Whenever you log in to Bereev, we’ll send you an email with the 6 digit code. Enter that verification code after your password and you’re in!
Can I disable it?
Yes, but we don’t recommend it. If you still want to disable 2FA, we’ll show you how below.

1 – Login
Go to the Login page as usual and fill up your email and password.
2 – Check Your Email
We’ll send you your 6 digit verification code via email.
3 – Enter Your Verification Code
Copy and paste or manually enter your 6 digit code.
How to disable 2FA?
1 – Go to Settings
Click on your name in the top right corner.
2 – Look for 2FA
It’s under General Settings.
3 – Disable 2FA
Disable 2FA by clicking on the toggle, orange means enabled while grey means disabled.
